On 1911 census we found William's first wife Harriet with 2 children - Martha + William.
I have found Martha's details and will post info later but this is important because I have found the William we are looking for back with Harriet on 1939.
As we discovered from their marriage details, he appears to be quite a bit older than he later claims, (we will find proof of that when we track down his birth reg.).
1939 - names should be HOLLAND !!!

Hi Dea,
yes as I said yesterday things happened so fast and info was coming from lots of sources I need to collate what we now know to be correct. I am very slow computing at the moment but was quite good before my opp. and was much better at focusing on a particular thing I have got back into trying to do my Family History but as I said my brain seems to be on a go slow. Thanks for all the help you are giving me and have given me, you must be in contact with lots of FH sites to have been able to get what you have

OOOOOOoooooooo - that's a 'nasty one'!! - you are fortunate it was found and they were able to deal with it !!
I am happy to give any help I can on this - I really do enjoy researching.........
Grandson obviously not well enough for school but is wrapped up in a blanket watching netflicks on his tablet in the bedroom next door to my office so I can pop in and out for a chat and make him drinks etc and he is reasonably happy so what ever you need, just ask away!
I have found a couple of things on Harriet but want to get it a bit sorted before I post. - Will speak later,

That shows a William Holland convicted in Bolton in 1920 I just thought if there was another wife she could be from Bolton. But yours sounds closer esp.with that address.
