No need to loose the original - just go to "Tools" left hand side of the page.

Then click on "My Threads" and in that click on "Threads started by me"
A list of all the threads you've started will appear and you can then pull any one of those up and post on it, which will bring it back onto the boards.

You can go into the heading and add something like - please see (current date) and then make your post asking what you now want to know about that same family.

Helpers will then be able to carry on helping with previously found relevant info in front of them. Saves duplicating searches or perhaps going down previously found wrong paths etc

Liverpool police are anxious to trace relatives or friends of 80-years, old Alfred William Abbott., who lived alone in a basement room In Bedford Street North. Yesterday afternoon his landlady, not having seen him for two days, informed the police, who burst open the door of Abbott's room, and found him on a couch.

I am after a bit of help with the above named ancestor.He is the son of Benson abbot* and Phillis.He was born 1869/70 in Teesdale Durham.In 1901 he is living in Scotland with his wife Mary (I can't find a marriage for him to mary)
