Looking for help in locating any relevant information on Alice POWELL - believed to have been born in Bristol in 1855, we do know she emigrated to Australia, as she married James WALTER in 1877 in Carlton Victoria. Alice is my Great Grandmother on my father's side of the family. I live in Western Australia and what information I have is very sketchy.

Re Castle Garden, Dea - I've just tried it with a couple of names at random, and it's not working for me either.

After clicking "Search now", all I get is a blank page (with the Castle Garden heading).

Yes - that's what it does for me AG but it has been going on for such a long time now I thought it must be me! - I cleared all my cookies & cache etc as that sometimes causes such problems on some sites but nothing worked! - Thanks for checking for me - I can stop 'fiddling' now and just wait for the site to start working again ;-)
