I'm still not sure if it's Elizabeth Sweetman Liddell who's in your tree, or the Elisabeth who married James Armstrong.

However!
I had a look at the Armstrong marriage record.
James was a soldier in the 94th Regiment, while Elisabeth was resident in Glasgow.

How can she be Liddell on the census if she married Armstrong in 1810?
