Looking for a needle in a haystack, but can't hurt to ask.

If anyone has access to parish records in Ireland could you please look for these two sisters.

Trying to find baptisms for Bridget (c1828) & Catherine (c1819) Noon. Father John.

Born Ireland but no idea of area.

I have found them on the 1851 census, but not on 1841, so possibly came over to England during the famine.

1851 census for reference....

Just a possibility - no idea if this is the correct family - very common names:

Bridgida Noon
in the Ireland, Catholic Parish Registers, 1655-1915
Name: Bridgida Noon
Baptism Age: 0
Event Type: Baptism
Birth Date: 1827
Baptism Date: 22 Jan 1827
Baptism Place: Killian, Galway, Ireland
Parish Variants: Ballygar, Killeroran, Killian and Kilronan, Kilronan, Newbridge
Diocese: Elphin
Father: Joannes Noon
Mother: Catherina Gavin

There's absolutely no reason to think this is a relevant record, and I can't find anything for Catherine.

Nor any marriage in Ireland or England for Catherine to a Roach.

The family presumably went to England between 1848 and 1851, as all the Roach children were born in Ireland.

Can't see the Roach children's births/baptisms, either.

Surely we're looking for a marriage between Catherine Noon and Mr Kneafsey, and a later marriage after 1843/44 to a Mr Roach

Oh wow.

AustinQ I hadn't seen the 1861 census and the baptism and marriage are really great finds. Now I have an area to work on. Many thanks.

ArgyllGran, thank you for the Dublin marriage and other info. It's more than I could find.

Maddie, thank you for the marriage it does seem such a coincidence.

Eringobragh, thank you for the additional marriage info and pinpointing the town.

Thank you all so much. Honestly chuffed to bits!!

Christina,if the marriage found by AQ is the correct one - and it certainly looks as if it is - you can disregard what I found. Wrong part of the country!
