I would say as there doesn't appear to be an alternative marriage that Betty is the daughter of Peter and Margaret, twin to William ?

I am seeking information to enable me to enable me to go further back with certainty. however I have been struggling to get any further back than John and Betsy apart from what is on the marriage cert.
