Some 2017 deaths are online on Ancestry site, but no details of volume and page number,so you just might find her listed there, but if you know where she died, the local registrar would be my starting point. |

You could also try looking for an obituary notice in a local paper? |

My first thought is that you could contact the undertaker responsible for her funeral?? - They would have to have had a death cert to carry out the funeral. |

If the death was in Scotland (you don't say which country it happened in) you'll be able to find it on Scotlands People, and order a copy of the cert via that site. |

Do you know the date of death? If not, you could check to see if her Estate went to Probate. https://probatesearch.service.gov.uk/#wills |

Samantha you won't find it online, it's too recent. ( the register hasn't been transcribed after 2006/7 ) |
