I am trying to find the parents of James Glendenning born 1803 Scotland died 1882 Longtown
His wife was Catherine Forster married 1834 Nichol Forest Cumberland
His son was Richard 1838 Nichol Forest
I know its a long shot but thank you

For info - nothing more than Scotland for Place of birth

Have you followed him back to see if any census does give pob - it happens sometimes!

Or even the children that were born in Scotland - it may be they were living in his home area at the time they were born
