Yes it is lieutenant on the 1916 marraige record I had problems enlarging it on the iPad |

Erica on the wedding certificate it states he is Widow and also the service records have yes crossed out and no replacing it. I have seen this done before a few times when I was doing a WW1 research project |

Thank you Erika I have just downloaded the service and am going to look at it now. I may have found a first marriage for him in 1898 to either Martha Mansbridge or Annie Jane Newell ,more investigation here for me |
