	Does anyone know where I might be able to find more information on someone born in the East Indies JANE HUGHES C1827 EAST INDIA SUBJECT Her father was Thomas Hughes She married James Johnston in 1846 in Liverpool Lancashire Is there anyway I can find out more about her birth and life in India Any help will be very much appreciated

He may have been Military or Civil Service, or an East India company employee.
