Okay, thanks for that. It was Henry and Lily Burrows, died in Fulham 1943. They're not recorded so I guess they just died the same year. Sometimes I guess you have to shell out for the certificate if you want to know the reason :-)

If the name isn't recorded, odds are the death wasn't as a result of enemy action

Have you found the Civil registration?

Yes they are on there - who is it you are looking for?

You can click on civilian deaths on the advanced search and it will just bring them up.

Thanks, yes. Civilian deaths don't tend to be recorded by the commonwealth war graves commission ?

Is there a record of civilian deaths from bomb strikes etc in wartime Britain ?
