William claims to have been born 1812 in St. Martin in the Field, Middlesex, London. He can be found on 1841 - 1871 census returns. He married for the second time in 1847 to Emma Binnie at St Botolph, Bishopgate and again in 1849 to Elizabeth Foay at St John the Baptist, Shoreditch.. On both occasions his father is given as Thomas Miller, tailor. In 1845 an Elizabeth Miller married a Richard Allwright in St Botolph, giving father as Thomas Miller, tailor. One witness was William Miller and other Mary Ann Miller. A Mary Ann Miller married William John Peacock in Clerkenwell in July, 1848, her father Thomas Miller, tailor. The originals can be seen on Ancestry LMA records. |
