Valerie died of cancer a good many years ago. Dont know what year yet, as I havnt got that far.

As Valerie hasn't been said to be deceased, I think it would be tactful to delete this thread.

It would give you her father's name but the birth certificate for Beverley Edwards would be my first choice as it would tell you whether or not her mother was called Valerie. If she WAS Valerie then I would think it a good possibility that she was the Beverley you were looking for.

Maybe I will order Valeries marriage certificate, that might give me some more information about her.

The birth certificate would tell you the mother's full name which would rule it in or out.

Thats interesting Kath !!! Could be. It is beginning to look like something like that.

I wonder if this could be a possibility. Could Valerie have had a baby before they were married (either to Eiron or someone else and Eiron brought her up as his own)? There is this birth:-

Thats alright, I can do that, I dont mind buying certificates when I am really stuck.

I looked for marriages for both sons to a Beverley, couldnt see one.

Erika - he was Trevor Wayne Richards (he is known as Wayne)

Kath - not that we know of, but I did think of it.

In the births it looks like Trevor was Trevor W. (possibly Trevor Wayne).

Had either Eiron or Valerie been married before? Just in case Beverley was the child of a previous marriage???

Yes that is possible, I didn't think of that. I shall look for the marriages of the 2 sons.

Could Beverley be a daughter in law (wife of one of his sons?)

Thank you Kath, neither could I, that was why I thought maybe there would not be a birth cert for a still birth, but as Erika has advised me, there is a seperate closed register. This is obviously going to turn into another little mystery.

Eiron died 19 Dec 2014. His obituary reads, beloved husband of Valerie, and dearly loved father of Sandra Wayne Debbie Anthony Paula and the late Beverley.
