Although I've been able to confirm the older 2 (& 2 others b 1933 & 1936) can find nothing for Edith Barbara born Hitchin Herts.

Albert & family were in Stafford by 1939. He seems to be a career RAF technician/fitter. He & the family were living on base at Henlow, Bedfordshire when the form was completed in, possibly, 1924. Edith's name is a later addition.

No records of any type for Edith B Banner on FMP or freebmd, as I'm sure you've already discovered

Nop, for Ancestry or a birth on Freebmd. Its as if she's vanished into thin air? Perhaps she was adopted but that doesn't explain her total disappearance :-S

Nothing for Edith Barbara!! I did wonder if she was evacuated overseas but then you'd have expected other siblings to go as well.

Can't see anything for Edith, but she would fit nicely in the large gap between other children.

The Ancestry version is incorrect - the original, with image, was from FMP.

Edith''s yob does look like 1926. I can't see what else it could be. To fit in with the other births, it must have been between Joyce's in May 1924 & Pauline Myra Banner 4Q 1933. (she died 2014)
I've tried both Banner & Bonner mmn Wheelhouse as well as without mmn.
I've even mucked around with Wheelhouse in case she was Edith Mary's niece or something.

Albert W H Banner's religion is stated to be Wesleyn. Trying to think laterally, could she have become a missionary & gone overseas? But that doesn't explain why there's no birth record. Grrr
