Hi All, Is there anyone who can point me in the right direction with this couple as I am struggling to understand where I go next.
What I think I know Maria Goode -
Marriage Certificate Married Edwin Chinery, March 12th 1866 age 30, no residence listed so assume same as husband - Woolpit, father George Goode Labourer. Witnesses Robert Green(?) and Elizabeth Chinery.
Census - 1881 - not living with children and not found - possibly died 1871 - Woolpit, Suffolk DOB abt 1835 age 36, married born Harlestone 1861 - New Street, Haughley, Suffolk (I know this address to be correct as it is listed on son George William Goode birth cert) Age 24 DOB abt 1837 Harlestone 1851 - New Street, Haugley Suffolk DOB abt 1837 age 14 Harlestone 1841 - Harlestone Age 4 DOB abt 1837 spelt Mariah
Parents on Census - George Goode and Elizabeth
Possible deaths - Searched for Maria Chinery DOB 1837 +/-2 years Suffolk = 21 results but only 2 in Stow 1879 or 1911 - is there a way to eliminate one of these?
Birth - not really found anything for a Maria Goode. The only thing I have found is a baptism for a Ann Maria Goode 12/02/1837 Halston Suffolk parents George and Elizabeth. I have no idea what to do pre registration is it likely that this Ann is my Maria or am I going down the wrong path as this is all I can find? Where do I start pre registration especially when to visit the actual documents is not easily possible as I am located a very long way from the records.?
Not found any other information
