	Census 1851: New Street Haughley Stow Suffolk .. George Good Head 41 1810 Male Haughley, Suffolk, England Elizabeth Good Wife 40 1811 Female Stowmarket, Suffolk, England Maria Good Daughter 14 1837 Female Harleston, Suffolk, England Catherine Good Daughter 12 1839 Female Harleston, Suffolk, England Alfred Good Son 10 1841 Male Harleston, Suffolk, England Robert Good Son 5 1846 Male Harleston, Suffolk, England Elizabeth Good Daughter 2 1849 Female Haughley, Suffolk, England Mary Ann Good Daughter 7 1844 Female Harleston, Suffolk, England I found these two baptisms for an Elizabeth or Eliza in Stowmarket. In census 1851 Elizabeth is aged 40, but in 1841, she was born c1815, though this may have been rounded down to the nearest 5 years, as was meant to happen for adults in the 1841 census. The parents appear to be the same for both baptisms, but did both children survive to adulthood? EDIT: Looks like they did. Marriage for Eliza further down the thread, so I believe Elizabeth bap 1809 is Maria's mother. There was that death for Elizabeth Good aged 45 in 1856, so I'm inclined to think Elizabeth 1809 is the right baptism, and Eliza 1817 is a younger sister. 	I strongly suspect that the baptism you found for Ann Maria is in fact 'your' Maria, with parents George and Elizabeth. Also that you have the correct Maria in census 1861, and we have now established her mother was Elizabeth Stannard.

	The 1841 census Erika posted for the Goode family with Stannard occupants as well, seems to support the 1832 marriage I posted for George Goode and Elizabeth Stannard at Stowmarket. Also the civil registrations we both found for Betsey (Elizabeth) and Robert Goode.
