It looks as though you will need the birth cert if you are to make any progress at all.

You can search the Irish Census for 1901 and 1911 yourself, it is a free site:
http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/
but here is the family in 1901, no Edward. However on the marriage cert for Edward and Anne, it said his father was Patrick O'Gorman, tailor.

Getting hold of Irish certs:
https://www.irishgenealogy.ie/en/civil-records/help/i-want-to-get-a-copy-of-a-certificate-what-do-i-do
(20 euros for cert, but for genealogy purposes you can order an uncertified copy which is essentially a photocopy for 4 euros.)
You can only order the full certs online, but can download forms to send by post:
https://www.hse.ie/eng/births-deaths-and-marriages/get-certificates-online/

Elizabeth, I think Edward may be a red herring. I suspect that there may be no father named on Eliza's birth certificate. Of course it is always possible that she didn't have a copy of her birth certificate and her father had died when she was very young and she had no recollection of him but you would have thought that the family who reared her would have been able to tell her who her parents were. I suspect that she was illegitimate and given up for adoption hence no siblings.
Please come back and let us know when you get her birth certificate.

A possibility perhaps???
I’m wondering about the possibility that Edward’s father on the marriage certificate could have been recorded by mistake as Patrick (as there was a witness Patrick (possibly Edward’s brother) also Annie’s father was Patrick) and should have been recorded as William
The marriage certificate in 1921 for Edward and Annie records Edward as aged 25 (so born c1896) with father named as Patrick O’Gorman, occupation Tailor but there does not appear to be any Edward O’Gorman/Gorman with a father named Patrick who has an occupation as a Tailor born between 1894-1898.
There is however this birth for an Edward with father recorded as William (occupation: Tailor):
Carlow 20th March 1896: https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1896/02181/1825896.pdf
William and Johanna were married in 1895 (last entry) https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1895/10518/5831170.pdf
Other children of this couple: John born 1898 (1st entry): https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1898/02093/1798108.pdf
Patrick born 1900 (6th entry): POSSIBLY WITNESS TO EDWARD AND ANNIE’S MARRIAGE (and possibly the same Patrick who marries Mary Aylward in 1926) https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1900/02005/1770997.pdf
Mary Anne born 1901 (4th entry) https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1901/01931/1747601.pdf
This Mary Anne is living with her grandmother Sarah Maher in the 1911 census (see census below)
This looks to be the family in the 1901 census: http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Carlow/Fennagh/Ballyknockan_Town/1042410/
Looking at this census Johanna was recorded as being born in County Wexford and on her marriage certificate her father is recorded as John Maher, occupation Shoemaker.
Birth reg for Johanna in Enniscorthy (6th entry down): https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1866/03526/2297552.pdf
William Gorman dies in 1901 aged 35: (4th entry down) https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/deaths_returns/deaths_1901/05710/4610823.pdf
Johanna returns to Wexford and remarries in 1909 to Bernard McGrath (2nd entry down): https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1910/10003/5638047.pdf
Link to the 1911 census for the family (Bernard has been mistakenly recorded as Bryan): (NOTE: The family are living in Ballyhogue (Edward was living at Ballyhogue when he died in 1963) which is approximately 5km from Knockduff (Edward was living at Knockduff Bree when he married in 1921) http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Wexford/Ballyhoge/Ballyhoge/676501/
For confirmation birth reg for son Bernard (shows mother’s maiden name Maher and father as Bernard): https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1910/01557/1629159.pdf
This places the family in Enniscorthy where Edward marries Annie Aylward in 1921. Also this birth records Bernard as a railway employee and Edward also works for the railway as a signalman in 1921.

The census entry with Bernard recorded as Bryan may not be a mistake. I have come across this before and it would seem that in Ireland Bernard and Bryan are interchangeable.
