Our ancestor John Riley shows on 1901 census as being born in Ireland but on the 1911 census shows him as being born in Durham. All of the family members are the same. How do I know which is correct and if it is Ireland is there a separate births register for Ireland for me to look the information up ? Sorry to ask so many questions but I am fairly new to this : |
