She went out into the garden on Saturday 30th March about 5am in her nightdress and cut her throat. Two sons alarmed when she didn't come back went to find her and she was already dead.

It was said that she had been low and depressed recently but not enough to worry about suicide.

Suicide while in the state of unsound mind was the verdict.

does anyone have access to the Newspaper archives.
On 1st April 1870 in Shrewsbury Chronicle under a Whitchurch heading , report the suicide of Margaret. Just wondering what it said
