I am totally miffed!!!!!!!!!!!!
She married Benjamin Nevill 1835 Woodford Essex 14 Jun 1857 West Ham.
I need to find the right parents for her. I have looked on Family Search and on Ancestry and found a baptism in Terling but the parents were John and Sophia.
Someone has her on their tree on Ancestry with parents William Cousins and Frances Spencer and a lot of siblings. I am not sure??????
I have been on this all day and am getting knowhere. Trouble is there are so many different spellings for Cousins, Cousens, Couzens, Cozens etc.
I need some new eyes and help from you lot please?
I have everything from her marriage down to me but I am stuck stuck stuck on her....

The William and Frances one in 1841:
1841 England, Wales & Scotland Census
Alms Houses, Theydon Garnon, Epping, Essex, England
William Couzins Male 20 1821 Essex, England Fanny Couzins Female 20 1821 Essex, England William Couzins Male 9 1832 Essex, England Hannah Couzins Female 8 1833 Essex, England Emma Couzins Female 7 1834 Essex, England Sarah Couzins Female 2 1839 Essex, England Ann Couzins Female 1 1840 Essex, England
Theydon Garnon is only 2 or 3 miles from Abridge and four or so miles from Lambourne.
(Not sure why William and Fanny are aged 20 in 1841, they seem to be more realistically aged in 1851).
The family in 1851 without Hannah:
1851 England, Wales & Scotland Census
Black Acre Farm, Theydon Bois, Epping, Essex, England
William Couzens Head Married Male 44 1807 Agricultural Labourer Epping, Essex, England Fanny Couzens Wife Married Female 42 1809 - Lambourne, Essex, England Emma Couzens Daughter Unmarried Female 14 1837 - Lambourne, Essex, England Sarah Couzens Daughter - Female 12 1839 - Lambourne, Essex, England Ann Couzens Daughter - Female 10 1841 - Essex, England Charles Couzens Son - Male 8 1843 - Essex, England George Couzens Son - Male 5 1846 - Essex, England James Couzens Son - Male 3 1848 - Essex, England John Couzens Son - Male 0 1851 - Essex, England
Children Emma and Sarah are born LAMBOURNE, Ann, Charles and George are born Theydon Garnon, and James and John are born Theydon Bois.

If you think William and Fanny are right ( or if the marriage cert for Hannah confirms it), then 1851 census above, says William was born c1807 Epping, Essex.
This could be his baptism?
England, Essex Parish Registers
Name William Cozens Event Type Christening Event Date 29 Nov 1807 Event Place , Epping, Essex, England Gender Male Birth Date 30 Oct 1807 Father's Name Abraham Cozens Mother's Name Ann Cozens
Might this be Abraham and Ann in census 1851?
1851 England, Wales & Scotland Census
Griffith Cottage, Fiddlers Green, Thoydon Garnon, Epping, Essex, England
Abraham Cozens Head Married Male 69 1782 Labr Essex, England Image says Northweald) Ann Cozens Wife - Female 69 1782 - Lambourne, Essex, England George Cozens Son - Male 29 1822 Labr Essex, England (Image says Theydon Garnon)
Image says Abraham born Northweald.
Familysearch has several more baptisms for children of Abraham and Ann, William's was the earliest in 1807, through to an Ann in 1827.
Abraham and Ann in 1841?
1841 England, Wales & Scotland Census
Coopersale Street, Theydon Garnon, Epping, Essex, England
Abraham Coznis Male 55 1786 Essex, England Ann Coznis Female 50 1791 Essex, England George Coznis Male 15 1826 Essex, England Ann Coznis Female 15 1826 Essex, England Robert Seach Male 40 1801 Essex, England

Ooo thank you Kucinta and Erika.
I had to go out but before I did I found Hannah on the 1851.
1851 Name: Hannah Cosens Age: 18 Estimated Birth Year: abt 1833 Relation: Servant Gender: Female Where born: Abridge, Essex, England Civil Parish: Stratford le Bow County/Island: Middlesex Country: England Street address:
Occupation:
Registration district: Poplar Sub-registration district: Bow ED, institution, or vessel: 1c Neighbors: Household schedule number: 28 Piece: 1555 Folio: 35 Page Number: 9 Household Members: Name Age Fredk Chapman 32 Matilda Chapman 27 Hannah Cosens 18<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
I thought the Terling one was wrong but I shall have to get the marriage cert anyway.
Thanks once again and you can see how hard it is to find the name Cousins etc. even more spellings now.

Was she Hannah Rebecca 1834-1905 married to Benjamin Robert Nevill?
The site Geni has someone with Hannah Rebecca born 23/2/1834.
Still no good even with middle name to look for.

Fanny says born c1809 Lambourne in census 1851.
This is the nearest I can get, if maybe she was being economical with her age...

I checked for the marriage of Benjamin and Hannah but it is not in the Parish Registers for West Ham. Maybe non conformist or a register office marriage? So it looks like you would have to buy the certificate.

Kucinta said "And not that much on the way of free Essex parish records online."
This is far from true for paid records, but you need to buy a sub - it costs 10/20/30/more GBP for 1day/1week/1month/longer - see: http://seax.essexcc.gov.uk/ParishRegisters.aspx

Just had a thought......The marriage you quoted as 14 Jun 1857 West Ham, for Benjamin and Hannah, where did you get the exact date and place from?
If 'West Ham' is the registration district, and not the specific place for the marriage, then there are 7 other parishes to search.
If it is the Registration District then I can have a look at the other parishes, just let me know......Unless, of course, you have already ordered the certificate!

Thanks again one and all.
No Chris I did'nt have the Baptism of Hannah Rebecca Couzens so thanks for that. She was my Gt Gt Gran.
No I hav'nt ordered the cert yet. I had the date from LDS but I am not very good at looking on that site now they have changed it all. I liked it when you could put in parents names and up would come all their children.
I would love it if you could look at the other parishes for me, thank you.
Benjamin was a Hay Dealer and it seems it was passed down father to son and Bens son Benjamin carried it on.
