One of my husband's ancesters is John Reeder Kershaw born in Bradford in 1877. I have found him on the 1901 census age 25 and single. On the 1911 census it shows him married for 8 years and his wife name is Eliza and he has 3 living children. I looked up their births and it shows there mothers maiden name as Blanchfield however when I look into the marriages for 1903 it shows John Reeder Kershaw as marrying a Sarah Alice White in 1902.As his is such an unusual name I am really puzzled as to finding his marriage to Eliza Blanchfield and not Sarah Alice White. Can anyone help me out here please. :- |
