Hi I was wondering if some one could help me again please.Going back to Jessie Ann Ashbrook 1884-1946.married to John William Farr 1886-1942.I know that on 1901 census as living with family Faulkner as a servant.Jessie half sister was Sarah Ann Ashbrook 1872. Sarah Ann Ashbrook was married to Abel Gresty born 1870. One of there children was Annie Gresty 1895-1974.Found them living at Stretton Hall. On 1911 census there was a William Faulkner son of Alfred Faulkner living at Moss Wood Hall part of Stretton Hall, with his two sisters Bertha and Elizabeth Faulkner who married John Hough Darbyshire. Alfred Faulkner was married to Mary Ann Sankey. her father was Isaac Sankey who died 1889 aged 78.trying to get the conection with Jessie and the Faulkner family. Jessie grand parents were Richard Ashbrook and Ann Faulkner.were do the other Faulkners fit in thanks hope some one can help

The only Benjamin Faulkner I can find in Kelsall is this one, but Ann is not living with the family:
1851 England, Wales & Scotland Census
Brook Spout, Kelsall, Great Boughton, Cheshire, England
Benjamin Faulkner Head Married Male 37 1814 Ag Labourer Hargrave, Cheshire, England Margaret Faulkner Wife Married Female 41 1810 Ag Labourer's Wife Tarvin, Cheshire, England Thomas Faulkner Son - Male 12 1839 Scholar Kelsall, Cheshire, England James Faulkner Son - Male 10 1841 Scholar Kelsall, Cheshire, England Charles Faulkner Son - Male 8 1843 Scholar Kelsall, Cheshire, England Enoch Faulkner Son - Male 6 1845 - Kelsall, Cheshire, England
Benjamin is born Hargrave, Cheshire.
I'm not seeing any immediate connection between the two Faulkner families.

The head of the Faulkner family in census 1901 was Henry:
Henry Faulkner Head Married Male 39 1862 Farmer Kingsley, Cheshire, England
In 1871 with his parents:
1871 England, Wales & Scotland Census
Wigans Lake, Kingsley, Runcorn, Cheshire, England
Henery Faulkner Head - Male 55 1816 - Derbyshire, England Hannah Faulkner Wife - Female 51 1820 - Cheshire, England Abraham Faulkner Son - Male 27 1844 - Cheshire, England Hannah Faulkner Daughter - Female 17 1854 - Cheshire, England Martha Faulkner Daughter - Female 11 1860 - Cheshire, England Henery Faulkner Son - Male 9 1862 - Cheshire, England
On the image Henry sr's birth place looks like Sudbury Derbyshire, but in the cnesus for 1861, it looks like Somershall Derbyshire.
This looks likely to be his baptism, with parents John and Hannah:
First name(s) Henry Last name Falkner Baptism year 1815 Baptism date 17 Sep 1815 Place Sudbury, All Saints<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Parents John & Hannah Father's occupation Wheelwright Residence Hill Somersall<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< County Derbyshire Country England Notes Record set Derbyshire Baptisms Category Birth, Marriage, Death & Parish Records Subcategory Parish Baptisms Collections from England, Great Britain
I can find 3 other children for John and Hannah, namely Ann c1813, Samuel c1819 and Joseph c1821, who would be too young to be the parents of Ann Faulkner's father Benjamin.

Alfred was baptised in Jan 1879 and died aged 2 weeks, Jesse baptised mid Sept 1879 and died aged 3 weeks, so definitely not twins. I suspect Jesse was at least a bit premature.

Judging by date of burial, Ellen probably did die as a result of childbirth, passing about 3 weeks before the death of baby Jesse, as Malyon says, so sad, so young.
