It says on the image that Brown is a Pensioner, Royal Navy. Could he have been at sea in 1911?

Thanks Kath, Brown may well have been at sea which could be why Florence was at her sisters.

On the image it gives his dates of service on various ships. It looks like one of the periods he is on service is from 8th December 1910 to 4th March 1912.
I will try to send you the image but I can't promise as I usually leave anything like sending images to my son but he is abroad at the moment. I'll give it a try though.

Thanks Kath and safc, I've just come back, I got distracted with other ancestors. Kath, I hope you manage to send the image, let's hope I manage to retrieve it, not 100% how to do it.
