Looks like Florence remarried - the original has her West name scored through and Griffiths added. There is a date in the margin of 7.12.44. Not necessarily the date of change but the date the change was noted in the register.

Only 1 of the possible 5 children born to the marriage appears to be on the 1939 register, as a closed record which means either they haven't died as yet or their death has not been picked up. Are the other possibles with other family or already been evacuated? I can't see obvious deaths pre 1939

Probate record - a copy of her will may prove useful - can be ordered through the site. However looks as though she died intestate and administration of her affairs was granted to William, so probably nothing to be found that way.
