Just a quick question - does anyone now if records for the Dover Union Workhouse would be on line to view - tried to search and cannot find anything

Have you tried ancestry


Seems they are held at Maidstone . Would doubt they have been transcribed

Admissions and discharges, births, deaths and religious creed registers of the Workhouse at Buckland, 1835-1914 Dover Poor Law Union whose records are held at the Centre for Kentish Studies, Maidstone, England.The workhouse is in the parish of Buckland in the district of Dover.

My question here was about the possibility of on line records for the workhouse, someone decided to copy a thread, that thread doesn’t confirm it either..
