Can anyone help with finding out more about Christina McGilvray Clow born 1899 in Glasgow - died 1921 in Govan, Glasgow. Her father was Malcolm Clow born 1867 - died 1906 - mother was Flora Clow nee McRae born 1865. Christina had a son in 1913 named Neil Baker Clow, father unkown. Any help would appreciated. |

If her father had died and her mother widowed, it may be worth checking out the Poor Relief records. They are indexed and held in The Mitchell Library in Glasgow. |

Unfortunately the Christina Clow in Dunbartonshire in 1911 isn't the right one. |

Looks like Flora in 1918, living with a William Clow, seaman (presumably her son). |

Strange! There doesn't seem to be any results for Tradeston. I've just looked up some of my family who came from there and they seem to be listed under Gorbals. Without looking at my tree, perhaps they had moved a few streets into the Gorbals district between 1901 and 1911. |
