Well she is on the 1939 register as single but has two sons living with here both surname nunn

Freebmd shows both boys also listed as Taylor on the birth records so seems they had children before marrying

It's also looks like William had been married before so maybe that's why they'd didn't marry till 1943

There's no birth listed for a Barrie nunn born after they married with mmn Taylor

Maybe one of them had been married before or he was adopted by them

The way to check for children after 1911 is to search on FreeBMD for birth using the surnames of both parties

Use the mans surname in the first box as that would be any children's surname

ok, thank you , but they did have offspring, I have just been contacted by Barrie Nunn, offspring of said parents , thank you for your answer anyway xx

If Lillian was in her early 50's when they married I doubt that at that time she would be having children even though it is possible.
