And the death in 1829 which you mention?
Again no specific mention of Harewood.

Erika -
John was a labourer, per the 1847 marriage cert.
It doesn't say he was deceased. And the John who died in Yeadon in 1829 was a cloth maker - not just a labourer.

This is the death of John's wife - at least according to the tree info Maddie posted on page 1 of this thread :
Ann Baldwin in the West Yorkshire, England, Church of England Baptisms, Marriages and Burials, 1512-1812 Name: Ann Baldwin Death Age: 52 Event Type: Burial Birth Date: 23 Aug 1758 Death Date: abt 1810 Burial Date: 23 Aug 1810 Burial Place: Harewood, All Saints, Yorkshire, England Parish as it Appears: Harewood, All Saints Spouse: John Baldwin
All the image actually says is (on a page of burials 1810):

Ah - no, they're not.
I posted the Yeadon death thinking that was the one John meant, but of course he meant the one in Harewood, which I hadn't spotted.
As for the Colne versus Yorkshire question, I haven't a clue! Too many Henrys and Johns for me to make sense of.

girls one thing I thought last night, and there I cant prove it I think I have stud by his grave john baldwin, think MAYBE??? although its some where between 1998 and 2005 and just to ease my mind I explaned who I was and said I was his 4xg/son.
Right I am not being funny because 80% of the baldwins were within 4 miles of weardley and I know almost everthing about there lives, plus people with my surname HARPER also come within the same 4 miles now I cant prove soon of that right back to b1674 and in 2000 when I reaily started this family tree the harpers and baldwins it was somewhat easy to do.Even those who went to WW1 and them that never came home
MADDIE there is a few baldwins in Guiseleyand harpers and I have the book of memorial inscriptions St Oswalds at Guiseley.
but Maddie I have gone through the BALDWINS they are a different tribe Regards john
