I'm trying to find anything about a Thomas Measley born 1802 his wife was called Hannah born 1806 from Finmere Oxon
also a Ann Hickman born 1781 wife of a Joseph Paxton born or bapt on 26-2-1795 also from Finmere
|
This looks like the second pair - wife born somewhat later than you suggest - and NOT in Oxon, according to 1841 census (Below)
Joseph Paxton M 45-49 Oxfordshire Ann Paxton F 50-54 James Paxton M 20-24 Oxfordshire George Paxton M 15-19 Oxfordshire Edward Paxton M 15-19 Oxfordshire Henry Paxton M 14 Oxfordshire Thomas Paxton M 12 Oxfordshire Mary Paxton F 6 Oxfordshire

Many many thanks to you both for this Big list, never thought I would find so many of my past relations Joseph & Ann Paxton are my 4th Grand-parents.(no luck with the graves at Finmere have just checked that out.) Wish I could find some old photos of them. Richard Kirby & Mary Measey are my 3rd G-parents also. really hooked on this Family Tree. One sober thought ...All these people I am finding out about made me what I am today. Thanks again Val ps I be Back ;-)

Glad you're getting hooked on this Val. We've all found that we love the search for long lost rellies and are really happy to help anyone who needs a hand. Such a shame that you haven't found any graves yet but I'm sure as you build your tree and get more names this will change.
Good luck, Liz
