Member Since: December 2010 Posts: 55 Send Message	Ernest Curtis DOB 18th March 1907 Timberland Lincolnshire UK Last official record 1911 census aged 4 yrs Story told by all his siblings is that he left family home after major row with his Father George Curtis but no date ever given to any of my cousins or myself as to when the altercation occurred or why Theory is that he was last member of family living at home with ageing father after his Mother and 2 brothers died in 1936 /37 and all other siblings were married or living away in Service strangely all his siblings tell exactly same story to their children and would not or could not Elaborate , I have searched extensively B M D and Millitary records without success Have not even found school records and he would almost certainly have attended local C of E School at Timberland Village He probably worked for his father initially as land drainage contractor and prior to WW2 may have been working on construction of Airfields as some of his brothers were I am getting on in years and eyesight can not watch lists on screen for long now Maybe some one else out there is also looking for Ernest Curtis with more success

	Have we looked at this before because records that come up have a tick against some indicating I have looked at the record already I see on ancestry you have put a similar note about him leaving home
