Thanks to having her married name and year of death you found, googling her name and going through the Maritz deaths the same date if birth is given for Clarice.

I really appreciate everyone's help, thank you.

From your earlier posts, Alviegal, it looks as if the first wife, Doreen Clarice (or Clarice Doreen) died in 1957, then Adrian married Clarice (what a coincidence) Bettison Martin, then he died 1971.

Ah well done AG. I wonder if Clarice was Adrian's mother.

EDIT Just read your comment above. That is most probably correct as Adrian and Doreen had a son born 1926.

I've just checked the original image of the 1939 and it says see page 14 but not sure how to find it. I looked at image 14 but couldn't see anything.

Could someone please find a possible marriage and a death for Clarice Bettison Martin. According to the 1939 Register she was born 5th February 1913. Address given was City Hospital, Edwards Lane, Nottingham. She was a nurse there. There is no married name added to the register.

She was the sister of my gt grandfather's second wife Miriam. When Miriam died in 1968 it is believed Miriam left her house to Clarice so any death should be after 1968.
