I know he married a Elizabeth Ellen Adkinson 6/8/1889 at Collyhurst Albert Memorial Church Manchester.& he died in 1948 at Manchester, his children were Thomas 1898, William 1906 Freda 1910 & John Thomas 24/12/1911 It stated on the marriage certificate his father was a William Tunstead a Tailor this is who I am looking for further information on Any help gratefully received

It's an absolute garbage transcription!! Maybe I could read what is really written there! Unless they lived close to William ............ safc posted the 1901 census for him. I have looked for Thomas Tunstead born abt 1866 Ireland who died 1948 at Manchester, also his wife Elizabeth Ellen born 1870 died 1940 at Manchester with no luck even looked on names sounding similar NATIONAL PROBATE CALENDAR TUNSTEAD Thomas of 38 Durham Street Manchester died 2 January 1948 Administration Manchester 24 February to Thomas Tunstead Engraver Effects 267 pounds 6 shillings 5 Pence Thank you

	They were mistranscribed. Found them at 38 Durham St as per probate. Tunstead on the register image. Single 19 4 Ref: RG101/4516C/003/5 Freda was originally Tunstead on image and this as crossed out later and Brown added. EDIT: I've reported the error of Twistead instead of Tunstead.
