The marriage posted would be a parish record. Parish records rarely give details of fathers unlike statutory records than began in England and Wales in 1837. |

Fathers' names are hardly ever on marriage records prior to introduction of Civil Registration in 1837 |

Amelia and William married in 1832 so the 11 year old Amelia on the 1841 census may have been the illegitimate child of Amelia and may have been baptised as Littlejohns. |
