William Blake, Carpenter, of this Parish, Bachelor Frances Dimelow of this Parish, Spinster Married by Banns Witnesses:- Thos Peers and Elizabeth Dimelow Signed by William Blakie and Frances Dimelow It definitely is Blake in the first place on the image, but that could just be mishearing and / or mis-spelling by the Vicar, as William signed Blakie Incidentally, both William and Frances and both witnesses coudl write their names.

Father occupation:- Chaise Driver Born: August 21 1806 Frances Dimela ............. born March 21 1810 (I omitted to add this to the record posted earlier) ????????? the following children are siblings. The father's occupation is either Postillion or Post Chair .... which might fit with the Chaise Driver fro Ann and Frances. Needs careful checking! 	I also giggled .... and googled to find out wehre it was, as OH comes from Chester. To my amazement, I found out that it was part of Greater Budworth and now absorbed into Northwich, very close to where I taught school back in the mid 1960s!!!!

Member Since: May 2017 Posts: 218 Send Message	That was a pleasant surprise Sylvia. I was hazy about the Chester area and didn’t realise it was Cheshire. I thought it was Wales and that confused me. I did find a record that Frances came from Flintshire, and I imagine that must be a shire on the borders that no longer exists. I have Welsh relatives too and they come from Monmouthshire but the boundaries have changed there too and sometimes they’re in one county and then in another. I’m glad I asked about it so you could find out it was near your teaching job etc. Thanks for all your help Glyn
