Member Since: December 2011 Posts: 76 Send Message	My 3xgt.grandparents were William Yates b.c1822 and Rachel Fenton b.c1822 Middleton, Oldham. They were married 28th Dec.1841 Manchester, he was a butcher his f. William was a dyer. On 1861 census there is a Robert Yates, Grocer & Beer Retailer living next door to William. In 1851 census they are again living next door, but in Deansgate. Robert is with his parents William b. 1790 Middleton and Rachel b.1785 Bury. Robert was b.1826 Middleton. I am trying to find if William and Robert were brothers but I cannot find them living at the same address as I cannot find an 1841 census. Any advice please. :-(
