I’m trying to find references and articles to a photographers model FLORENCE RUTH GERRISH who lived in Bath and modelled from about 1910-1914. Can Anyone with access to newspapers or magazines help please?

My brother, photo taken in September 1991 just a couple of weeks before he died. ............................................................ To help us and to get better results, please post as much detail as you can, especially name, date(s) and place. Also say what you already know.

She's listed as photographer's assistant on the 1911 census.

So it is just photographers in Bath needed, or ref in newspapers ( I've already gone through news archives on FMP but do look again in case I missed it :-) )

Glyn might be worth looking for local archives in Bath, for papers or magazines that are not online?

Yes I’ve contacted the Bath Records and Archive office and also Bath Photographic Society as you suggested searching locally for the photographers studio. I haven’t heard back from either of them.

It is just articles or photos I hoped to find. That’s why I put a separate post.

I found one which was an advert for sable in a society magazine on ( I think) ancestry.co.uk but I couldn’t obtain it because my subscription was the basic one and when I tried to find it again I couldn’t. I don’t know if it was Florence but it was worth a try but I can’t find it. I thought maybe someone else would find something on another website or something

Glyn, have just PMd a snippet from the newspaper, re death of Florence's older brother, she's mentioned along with sisters, sorry i thought I'd sent it but have had internet problems , cutting at the vital moments.
