That 1860 death was for the SON of James Baird, Ironstone Miner and Mary, nee Gillespie.
Age 1 yr 8 months
Date September 23rd - father present
So, no further forward with James's birth year or parents
Can't think why I suggested it might be James snr...................simply not possible, unless Mary was having children with someone else!
