England and Wales Census, 1911



Once again an appeal for help for a younger relative. She has a Grandfather John Fleming, see extract from 1911 census below, which has caused some confusion. Children all listed as being born in Salop, Lancashire, no such place that I can find, other than Salop as in the county of Shropshire. I guess it's a transcription error because checking FreeBMD seems to show all kids born in Liverpool or West Derby (Liverpool) area?
