No problem thank you both, but Catherine, ArgyllGran, correct,
|
Yes I realise that it's not the correct one, I posted because Mary had the correct date and place of birth. I was looking for a marriage to see what her maiden name which is what I meant by (if the marriage to John Hayes is correct) I've been a bit slow looking it up as hubby arrived so have just come back to the thread. Thank you for finding the marriage, at least we can rule it out now.

I don't think that family is the correct one, Catherine.
Malcolm suggested a marriage to a John Davys, not Hayes, and this seems to be the birth of the son William H:

Any help would be very much appreciated to find any information as to a Mary Perriam (Bapt) on the 29/09/1811 in Butterleigh, Devon, the father of Mary, would have been a Philip Perriam. My research problem may be due to the spelling of her surname, this due to the fact that on her Fathers Banns of Marriage in Butterleigh, it being Perriam, however on his Marriage Record in Exeter, it is Perham. My research has found one possible marriage for a Mary Perham to a John Davys on the 17/12/1833 in Halberton, Devon, but no other information found.
