Hi all I am trying to find my fathers family tree,he was born in 1946 47? in Bridge Kent his name was Terry J Burford he unfortunately took his own life in 1987 when I was a teenager and I am trying to find a little out about his side of the family as I know nothing of them. I am very new to family research and I am a standard member here so I suppose my resources are limited? can anyone help find a tree ? I would be so grateful. |

Yes that's correct Janice Orourke was my mother, I thought my father Terry Burford was born in Bridge Kent though Derek. |

Yesmy Fathers Mother was Ivy Hill I have a feeling I have heard the name Albert before thinking back to my childhood, I know my dad's siblings are Jean and Brian, I have tried asking them to help but they don't seem to want to give me any information regarding my father,I think him committing suicide broke the family apart. |

The marriage cert for your father and mother should confirm Albert E Burford as his father. |

Hi Shelley...the Birth in Bridge Kent..is clearly right..as is the ref number given by Nyx...but somewhere along the line there is a mistake..since the BMD printout gives the "inferred" count as devon Cornwall and Scylly..and i bet that the Birth certificate says the same...........which i admit is clearly a mistake...... |

Sadly it looks likely that Ivy M Burford died 2012, that is the last date she appears on erolls, and there is a probate record for a matching name 2012 on Find a Will |

Yes, that is my father, birth and death are correct, and I always thought he was born in Bridge so I am guessing there was a mistake somewhere along the line and that Bridge would be correct. |
