Sidami .............

he could have come from Selby, but his residence is shown as Swinstead ......... he could have moved there, or lived there for a short time before the marriage.

Fathers names were'nt usually given until 1837. Have you looked for his baptism on Family Search?

Just going back to one of my lines and I have a marriage for John Wood married to Elizabeth Maxey Aug 12th 1812 Swinstead, can any one find this on line I was wondering if it had his fathers name?
