I'm looking for Ronald Hunt 1918 who married Dora Philis Jordan. i think it could have been 1941, possibly warwickshire. They were divorced somewhere between then and 1947 when she married George Hillsley

Do you have any idea of a DOB for Ronald other than 1918 (and are you sure it was 1918).
Despite the marriage only showing him as Rona, did he have any other initials.

There is one Ronald Hunt born 1918 in Alfreton RD, Derbyshire

Hi Greyghost and Maylon,
Thank you for your help. I used BDM to get the info I had. I knew Dora very well she was my aunt. However she never told me anything about Ronald Hunt in detail, I only got that info from another relative but they diddn't know any details.She would never talk about him.
His DOB was an educated guess from info found and the area of marriage for the same reason. I hadn't been able to find his death though, so I'm very grateful for all your help. As far as I'm aware there were no children from the marriage, but that may not be the case. I guess that's what I'd really like to know. I have searched but come up with nothing. There were no children from the second marriage so this could be an indication of Dora not being able to have any. Thanbk you again

If you buy their marriage certificate it should give you his age and his father's name which should help you move forward with more certainty.

It is also possible that the couple didn't divorce, but that Ronald was killed in the war?

........or he may even have been a US serviceman just stationed in England.............lots of possiblilities so if I were you I would buy a copy of the marriage certificate.
