Thank you all for info unfortunately I do not think I will find the grave. Dudley archives only have burial 'stub', from 1873 Philip was buried in 1842 |

Have you tried the local town Council Offices as ours has a complete list of burials for both the churches and the cemeteries. Good luck with your search |

1287 would be the entry number on the Parish or Council Cemetery burial register......unless you’re referring to the number shown on his DC? That’s entirely different & refers to the entry in the Registrars book. |
