The 1932 marriage gives her name as Elizabeth Jane Mullan- she was aged 22, Andrew was aged 30. |

Having not used NIDirect before what are these credits you talk about? I could not view that this morning, maybe down? I will try again later. |

If the 1955 death is correct then Andrew died in Omagh County Hospital. He is listed as a labourer, married, 'Late of Mill Street, Fintona'. (there is no middle name on the death registration). |

This is the family in 1911: |

Given the area, I think this birth is likely for Elizabeth Jane: |

Nyx- did they have the full details of the marriage with father's name to confirm the 1911 birth of Elizabeth Mullan was correct? |

A registry office marriage would not be recognised by the Roman Catholic Church, and therefore they would have to do it again in church. |

Interesting they married twice. Was this because he was Prodestant and she Roman Catholic one wonders ...... |

When posting the travel records, I did wonder if perhaps he had married in the USA - though there don't seem to be records of him after 1936, and no sign of the marriage. |

Your opening post gives a death year of 1966- you last post says 1955. I'm not seeing a death for 1955. Is it possible he died elsewhere and was brought to Ireland for burial? |

There is a headstone in Fintona Pres Church which states Andrew PATTERSON died 17th November 1955. His age and any details I give come from family hand me down info. I was told he married Jenny MULLEN (Could be Jennie, Jenny MULLEN, MULLIN. If MULLIN could be RC. PATTERSONS tend to be Prodestant). |

Is Jenny mentioned on Andrew's death cert? |
