The date of birth for Enid looks very clear as 1928 on the 1939 register |

On the original there is no surname for Enid, so it has been assumed she is Askew. |

So maybe find Robert Snowball and Rebecca (nee adamson) then? It looks like they married in 1928, and Rebecca may have been born 1903 ish in Durham? |

If she died in 2010 then her record is unlikely to be open on the 1939 register |

One last thing, Joseph's wife was Enid Jean Snowball b1928 (they married in 1955, Durham) and she died in 2010 (got the probate record), but can anyone find her on the 1939 register please? |

Hi again, yes I have Alice & William's deaths & probate details. And wanted to establish where/when Dorothy died, although the Carlisle death looks the most likely at the moment - maybe before she sold up in Liverpool she went to her brothers in Carlisle. |

So it's Joseph on the 1939 - don't know what family connection there was to the Bakers, nor what connection there was to Denbighshire area, bit of a mystery really. I didn't ever meet Joseph, just Dorothy when we visited my aunt & uncle (William & Alice) in Liverpool when I was a child. |

Thanks Prickles, that is defo Alice & Dorothy as that was where they were living when Alice & William died. The house was sold in 1995, and I lost track of Dorothy after this - think it may be her death registered Carlisle in 2001 - but not sure so could someone check the dob on the death registration please? |
