In the 1851 census there names are misconscripted ann and Phoebe last name is down as Shane ,sorry for that,

Carol, you say Ann was born 1811, but on the 1871 and her burial she was born 1799 or thereabouts. You really do need to buy the marriage cert.

The marriage cert for Phoebe to George Gibbs may give father's name if known.

This is the Freeman/Shaw family, bearing in mind the age discrepancies on the 1841 ( rounding up or down) this doesn't 'look' like Phoebe is the same person as Ann?

You said she was born Leicestershire

If that is the right Phoebe?

There are other Shaw/Freeman births but those children are not with mother Ann?
