Have Almost cracked it...... I think
Elizabeth Gardner married George England in 1878. 1881 census has Charlotte J England as a daughter born in Northfleet Kent!
Elizabeth than married William James Hall in 1884 where in 1901 Charlotte is daughter.
Just need to find birth record now

Charlotte married Robert Fullard 10/8/1899 under the above name. The certificate is blank where her father's name should be.
In 1911 her birth place is shown as Sunderland. However, in 1901 its shown as Gravesend Kent. Also, in 1901, she is in the household of William and Elizabeth Hall with her first son Robert Fullard and is recorded as being a daughter and her son a Grandson to William and Elizabeth.
Elizabeth's maiden name was Gardner which suggests Charlotte was illegitimate.
My problem is I cannot find any record of Charlotte's birth. Can anyone help please
Gerry
