25 February 1939 - Lancashire Evening Post - Preston, Lancashire, England

Youth Remanded at Preston
Thomas Niblett (20) labourer, of Newry-street. Bolton, was charged with one case of larceny, two cases of shopbreaking and larceny, and one case of housebreaking and larceny, all alleged to have been committed in Preston. Niblett, who was stated to have admitted to the police the four cases with which he was charged, was remanded in custody until next Wednesday.
