Hi,
My grandfather Arthur Lyons was born April 1906 in Liverpool. His Parents John and Sarah are on 1911 census living in Liverpool. Sarah's maiden name is Cassallan from his birth certificate ? Unable to find details of marriage but know it was around 1895, not sure where they were married. Anyone any help ??? Many Thanks

Theres 6 years difference in the age of Anne Caslin and Annie Casten but I should think its the same person as Robert is dwn as 1841 on that census and 1837 on another. Don't forget they did'nt really celebrate birthdays like we do today all those years ago.

Thanks for the quick replies, much appreciated ! No marriage record approx. 1895 between John and Sarah, maybe they married outside uk ?

Also ,as mentioned no birth records in GRO for earlie children John and Robert.

I can't find a Sarah Cassellin/casselan on the census at all before she is with John.
