I did see that Betsy- but an entry in the papers in 1937 has her listed as Betsy Croll:

Dundee Courier - Wednesday 27 January 1937

FOULIS- At 18 High Street, Bechin on 25th January, James Foulis beloved husband of Betsy Croll and second and last surviving son of the late Mr & Mrs Foulis Dunnichen, Forfar. Funeral to Brechin Cemetery on Thursday 28th January at 2 o'clock. Friends please accept this (the only) intimation and invitation.

If you know she was born in Orkney (presumably Westray), when was that, please?
There are several possible births on SP.


There are also several possible births for James Foulis, two of which are on Papa Westray, and one on Westray.

This could be a possible for Betsy, note her father' name PETER

These 2 births show for a Betsy Paterson in Westray. If the correct one is the 1911 Betsy Foulis on census as aged 27 then the second birth is more likely
